Expectations are high for Maranello Kart ahead of the FIA Karting World Championship that is underway at the South Garda Karting Circuit in Lonato in the weekend of September 20th-22nd. The Italian constructor will be present with its teams in both KZ and International Super Cup KZ2.
The much awaited weekend of the FIA Karting KZ World Championship that includes also the world round of the International Super Cup KZ2 is underway. The event announces to be quite hard-fought in both categories and undoubtedly the most important of the season.
The circuit of Lonato has scored a participation record with 48 drivers entered in KZ and 126 in KZ2, which are very good figures compared to the most recent editions and certainly envisage for great battles to secure a place among the finalists. Maranello Kart is present in this event through the teams SRP Racing Team, SG Race, Oracle and Hold fielding a total of 13 drivers in the two categories.
Maranello Kart’s colors in KZ will be represented by European Champion Fabian Federer who will compete for SRP Racing Team and Christoph Hold, who will be present with his own team.
Maranello Kart’s presence is concentrated in KZ2, as team SG Race fielded Massimo Dante (n. 200), Andrea Ceresoli (n. 199), Francesco Iacovacci (n. 152), Gabrio Bizzozero (n. 198) and Sara Markucic (n. 187); SRP Racing Team Enrico Bernardotto (n. 170), Davids Trefilovs (n. 138), Raffaele De Santis (n. 181), Oleksandr Deriuha (n. 226) and team Oracle Marco Bonfanti (n. 193). Alessio La Martina (n. 160) will also represent Maranello Kart’s colors.           
Friday, September 20th: Qualifying practice from 17:00 to 18:53.
Saturday, September 21st: Qualifying heats from 10:00 to 19:10; Historic Karts show at 13:25-13:45 and 16:30-16:50.      
Sunday, September 22nd: Historic Karts show 10:00-10:20; Qualifying heats from 10:25 to 12:40; Drivers introduction from 13:15 to 14:30; Historic Karts show 14:40-15:00; Final KZ2 and podium ceremony from 15:00; Final Academy and podium ceremony from 15:55; Final KZ and podium ceremony from 16:45.
