MARANELLO KART SCORING A TRIPLET AT THE SPRING TROPHY OF LONATO

Maranello chassis scored a stunning triplet in the final classification of the 26th Spring Trophy held in Lonato thanks to Massimo Dante, Nicola Gnudi and Tommaso Mosca.

Great success for Maranello Kart at the traditional Spring Trophy held at the South Garda Karting Track of Lonato. The 26th edition of the race awarded again the performance of Maranello's chassis in KZ2 with an exceptional triplet for Massimo Dante.

Massimo Dante on Maranello-Tm has been once again the protagonist of the event. Following the success obtained in the first round held last 15 March, he confirmed to be among the quickest in the second race held on 12 April taking the victory in the Trophy thanks to a good second place. This allowed him to put his name on the Hall of Fame of the race for the third time, after the victories scored back in 2011 and 2012.

Dante decided to settle for P2 behind Pollini in the Final of the second round of the Spring Trophy without taking any unnecessary risks to reach the goal of winning the Trophy. He anyway set the quickest lap of the race. The good performance of Maranello chassis was rounded up in the Final by the third place of  Mirko Colombo and the fifth of Tommaso Mosca.

Maranello scored therefore a triplet on the final podium of the 26th Spring Trophy, as the leader Massimo Dante led the charts with 90 points, the very quick Nicola Gnudi followed in second at 76 points and the great Tommaso Mosca was third at 73. The Austrian driver Christoph Hold on Maranello Kart got the fifth place of the Final classification at 64 points.

Two other Maranello chassis ended in the top ten: Mirko Colombo was eighth at 58 points, while Andrea Ceresoli tenth at 57 points.

These results gratified a lot Maranello. Maranello Kart manager Luca Iannaccone's commented in this way: “We are really very happy on winning the Trophy and having three drivers on top of the KZ2 classification, which confirms the continuity of the great performances of Maranello chassis. I would like to acknowledge the efforts put in by the technical managers Stefano Griggio and Tiziano Rizzi, that did a really great job. Now we are focused on the European Championship and we aim to get some further great results in the first round of Sarno.”
