MARANELLO KART AT THE KZ WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
AND KZ2 SUPER CUP OF VARENNES
Maranello Kart is about to compete in KZ with Yannick De Brabander and in KZ2 with Marco Zanchetta and Simone Palazzetti. The target is set to harvest a prestigious result in both competitions.
Lonato del Garda (Brescia). Maranello Kart and its official drivers are ready for the most important event of the year: the KZ World Championship and the International CIK-FIA KZ2 Super Cup to take place this coming weekend in France at the fast circuit of Varennes sur Allier.
The Italian squad will line up the strong Belgian driver Yannick De Brabander in the highest category, that is KZ, Marco Zanchetta and Simone Palazzetti in KZ2 going for the big hunt in both competitions.
Maranello Kart, has always been on top of the International Karting scene and this year played its cards mainly in KZ e KZ2, where the performing chassis RS7 and RS10 obtained important successes staying in the hunt for the victory of the CIK-FIA KZ2 European Championship and WSK Euro Series, as well as for the Italian Championship where the team is currently leading the classification with Massimo Dante.
In KZ De Brabander will get on track with the precise aim of securing the win that in 2011 he just missed by a whisker in a memorable final duel with his fellow countryman Thonon. Similarly, Zanchetta in KZ2 is motivated to complete in the best possible way an exciting season that saw him absolute protagonist both in the WSK Euro Series and in the European Championship.
Simone Palazzetti will try to put in a bold performance in Varennes aiming to slot in among the protagonists of KZ2.

The official programme of the event will start on Friday September 20th with qualifying of KZ2 from 12.40 (GMT+2) and of KZ1 from 14.40. Qualifying for KZ2 and Superpole for KZ will follow at 16.30. On Saturday September 21st qualifying heats will take place from 10.20. On Sunday 22nd pre-finals will open the day while the KZ2 Final will start at 15,10 and the Final KZ will follow at 15,50.
The Sunday programme will be available through the live streaming at the website www.cikfia.tv, while RAI Sport 2 will show the Finals on Tuesday 24th September and a special will be broadcast on Friday September 27th.
