MARANELLO KART 2013
MARANELLO KART AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN BELGIUM AIMING AT THE KZ2 TITLE
MARANELLO KART, WITH MARCO ZANCHETTA, TAKES PART IN THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN BELGIUM. ITS TARGET IS THE KZ2 CATEGORY. GOOD CHANCES ALSO FOR DOUGLAS LUNDBERG AND LUCA TILLOCA. IN KZ1 YANNICK DE BRABANDER IS READY TO DO HIS BEST ON HIS HOME CIRCUIT.
Lonato del Garda (Brescia). One of the most important appointments of the season is on schedule next weekend: the KZ&KZ2 European Championship in Genk - Belgium -. Maranello Kart official team is taking part in the race with its drivers, ready and motivated to achieve prestigious results.
In the second round of the European Championship, in KZ2 Maranello Kart is battling for the title after the good result of the first round in Germany, in Wackersdorf. Marco Zanchetta is the Maranello driver who stands the best chance; he is 5 points behind the leader, while the Swedish Douglas Lundberg's gap is of 15 points and Luca Tilloca's of 17.
Maranello Kart, in KZ1, fields the strong Belgian driver Yannick De Brabander, assisted by the EGP team. His race in Wackersdorf was definitely unlucky, and this should push him to redeem himself right on his home circuit.
However, it is in KZ2 that Maranello kart stands a great chance to win the title. A victory would close in the best way possible a first part of season during which Maranello has been playing a leading role both in the national and in the international championships. It was right in Genk that, at the beginning of June, Marco Zanchetta got so close to the WSK EURO series in KZ2. Now, the Italian driver - who, anyway, is the KZ2 runner-up of the WSK EURO series - will try to hit the jackpot with the CIK-FIA KZ2 European Championship, which is definitely within his reach. In Wackersdorf Zanchetta placed second, in Genk his target is victory.
Also racing for Maranello Kart in Genk: Jonas Hansen, Christoph Hold, Serkos Movsesian.
