Lonato del Garda (Brescia - Italy). The season is moving into top gear and the Maranello Kart official team is ready to face the forthcoming international events at its best, ready to battle for the top positions as it has been already shown since the beginning of the season.
In the meanwhile, Maranello Kart has strengthened its team thanks to the arrival of the strong Italian driver Luca Tilloca, 25 years old from Alghero (Sardinia), who in these last few seasons raced for CRG and Kalì Kart. With Maranello, Tilloca will take part in the KZ2 European Championship and, very likely, also in the World Cup in Varennes.
The impressive series of international events starts this weekend with Maranello's participation in the second round of the DKM, the German championship, on the circuit of Wackersdorf on 4th and 5th May in KZ2. At the start also Marco Zanchetta, the current leader in KZ2 of the WSK Euro Series KZ2, together with the Swedish Douglas Lundberg, both on Maranello RS10-Tm.
During the two days following the race, on 6th and 7th May, the team is going to remain in Wackersdorf to run some tests for the forthcoming European Championship on 19th May. The drivers who are going to run the tests, besides Zanchetta and Lundberg, will be the Belgian Yannick De Brabander in KZ1, then the Danish Andreas Hansen, who arrives from KF2, Luca Tilloca, the other Danish Jonas Hansen and the Greek Serkos Movsesian. In KZ2, Enrico Bernadotto will join the team for the round of the European Championship in Wackersdorf on 18th May.
Yannick De Brabander and Andreas Hansen will take part also in the WSK Euro Series on 2nd June in Genk, in Belgium, in view of the European Championship of 30th June, always on the Belgian track.
In the meanwhile, Maranello Kart will participate also in the Italian Championship of 12th May on the International Circuit Napoli of Sarno. The team will be presented soon.
