Maranello Kart is all set to get a strong final result in the Italian ACI Karting Championship’s closer at the circuit of Siena.
The fifth and closing round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship at the Circuit of Siena will take place on September 1-3. This round will award the titles of all categories and Maranello Kart will get on track all set to score a great result.
The Italian outfit is leading the KZ2 Championship with Marco Zanchetta, thanks to the wins obtained in the opener of Lonato, in the second round in Sarno, and the podiums scored in Battipaglia and Adria. Zanchetta is leading the charts at 177 points, 52 clear of his nearest rival. Marco Pastacaldi can also aim at the title, as he has a win in Battipaglia and a podium in Sarno under his belt. Pastacaldi is third in the classification with a 65,5 points gap from the top, but he is still in contention for the lead as this closing round will award 99 points due to the coefficient 1.5. Flavio Sani will also strengthen Maranello Kart’s lineup, as he dominated the Mojo Trophy in Siena in KZ2 and is quite resolute to be a protagonist of this race too.
Maranello Kart is heading to Siena with high chances not only in KZ2. In KZ3 Junior, the classification lead is currently held in fact by Maranello Kart’s Luca Bombardelli who totaled 96 points so far, and will be racing alongside other strong drivers like Marco Miastkowski and Mattia Giannini.
In KZ3 Under, Maranello Kart’s hopes are on Alessio Zanotti, who pulled a great victory in Adria and is currently fifth in the classification, and on Michael Dalle Stelle, who is seventh. Francesca Cifola is also called to a great race on Maranello, as she has been among the protagonists of the category and in the fight for the National Women Trophy.
In KZ3 Over, Andrea Tonoli is one of the strongest interpreters on Maranello Kart. He is third in the championship and has always been on the podium of the four finals in Sarno and Adria. Tonoli is third in the standings, 24 points shy of the leader. Among the quickest on Maranello Kart, also Cristian Griggio, seventh in the classification, and Attilio Borghi, twelfth.
In KZ4 another Maranello Kart driver is leading the classification. Battipaglia’s winner Maurizio Giberti is in fact topping the charts thanks also to the double podium in the opener held in Lonato.
The programme of Siena features qualifying on Friday September 1st, qualifying heats on Saturday 2nd, and the two finals on Sunday September 3rd.
